Hello. My name is L’Tanya C. Perry. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Kelvin Perry, Sr. for 25 years and looking forward to the rest of our earthly lives together. We have two children, Alexus and KJ. I can’t forget our grand dog, Blue! I am a bi-vocational leader starting from a teenager. I worked in a Financial institution while volunteering in the church as a leader and oversee the church finances as a financial secretary at the age 18. Therefore, all my life I had continuous hands in the corporate world and the non-profit world. After graduating from undergraduate with a BABS major MIS, the financial industry was hit with mortgage issues caused me to be in the middle of a freeze of hiring permanent banking employees and close to a recession. However, this was the best thing in my life because you wouldn't be reading this if I would of been hired permanently in the banking industry. :) During my college years, I worked on several financial institution’s assignments to work along my studies. I remembered my mom working during the tax season doing taxes at a community tax house. I would sit and watch her do taxes by hand with no tax software. Can you imagine? Due to the economy being close to a recession and the financial market positions was at halt, I went to tax school. I started working in the tax office and within my first year, I became a tax manager at Jackson Hewitt. As, I worked with people I realized there was a need for financial tax planning and assistance with being a solopreneur. Over these 19 years, I’ve been working with clients with and without children, single, head of the household, or married, those who are planning to have a family soon, to families who have a blended family for the first time, couples who kids are going off to college or taxpayers who desire to start or explore their tax benefits and financial opportunities in growing their business. I started my tax business because I was a solopreneur myself working in a for-profit and nonprofit world. I saw many others needing the missing knowledge not just information but someone who experienced the headache of not knowing all the information needed without the resources to hire a full staff team to help. Also, to the average taxpayer, what to do when single for example and why I’m paying more taxing then my neighbor with kids. Due to having a pastor heart for people. I craved to help take on every situation brought to my attention as it was my own situation. I will research and assist you in viewing your tax benefit opportunities. I can help you find the missing tax benefit for the current year preparing however some benefits may need to be adjusted in the year to come to maximize the opportunity. I understand starting business from nonprofit to for-profit sole proprietorship to LLC and S-Corp. I understand church finances, especially clergy compensation planning. I’m currently in my last phase of attaining my PhD in Business Admin specializing in Org Leadership. I will start assisting in more corporation startups as well. I love seeing my clients informed and well educated about their own taxes and understand the steps to enhance their tax knowledge of their situations. When I’m not working, I enjoy working out and walking long trails, reading, teaching Biblical courses, and publishing books. As I get older, I enjoy my quiet place at the firepit with my husband, eating meals coming off the fire. Love loving on my grand dog, Bluey!
